Death Valley is a VERY "other worldly" place!!!

Our first stop was at Scottie's Castle

Ubehebe Crater is an exploded volcano. This site is everywhere....salt!
We stayed at Furnace Creek Inn.Another beautiful Oasis.
Lowest Point in the western hemisphere. Badwater, 280 ft. below sea level
The Devil's Golf Course. Goes on forever.

Bounded on the west by 11,049 foot
Telescope Peak and on the east by
5,475 foot Dante's View, Badwater
is the lowest point (-282 feet)
in the western hemisphere.
On the way to Las Vegas we passed
through "Area 51".
